Primarily a budget property, the Hagley Court Hotel is housed in a traditional Victorian building with a red brick and stucco façade, similar to many others on Hagley Road. The modest entrance leads to a narrow lobby, with a reception desk and staircase to the rear. The 28 medium sized guestrooms have high ceilings and are maintained in fair condition, with light wood furniture, well-worn fabrics and simple décor. A hot and cold buffet is available every morning in the welcoming breakfast room. There’s also a brasserie and bar area open in the evenings. Though somewhat worn around the edges, this hotel specialises in providing a family atmosphere has a lot more character than many chain properties.
